DNAF-1 Privacy Policy
Omicron, LLC ("we," "our," or "us") operates the DNAF-1 and DNAF-1 Pro mobile applications (collectively, the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Location Data
DNAF-1 collects and uses your device's location information for the following purposes:
- Real-time Position: Your current GPS coordinates to display your location on the map and calculate fallout exposure at your position
- Ground Zero Coordinates: Locations you manually select or input for fallout simulation purposes
- Map Interaction: Coordinates associated with map panning, zooming, and marker placement
How We Use It: Location data is processed locally on your device for fallout calculations and is NOT transmitted to our servers or any third parties.
1.2 Weather and Wind Data
The App retrieves real-time weather and wind data from third-party services:
- NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration): Wind speed, direction, and atmospheric conditions
- Location-based requests: Your location coordinates are sent to NOAA servers to retrieve relevant weather data
Third-Party Privacy: NOAA's data services are subject to their own privacy policies. We do not control NOAA's data practices.
1.3 Map Data
The App uses Google Maps Platform services:
- Google Maps API: Displays interactive maps and terrain features
- Google Elevation API: Retrieves elevation data for terrain calculations
- Google Places API: Location search and geocoding (DNAF-1 Pro only)
- Coordinates sent to Google: Map tile requests include your viewing area coordinates
Third-Party Privacy: Google's collection and use of map data is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
1.4 Subscription and Payment Information
DNAF-1 requires a subscription processed through Google Play Billing:
- DNAF-1 Basic: $15.00/month subscription
- DNAF-1 Pro: $30.00/month subscription (includes advanced features)
- Google Play handles all payment processing - we never see your credit card, billing address, or payment details
- Subscription status: We receive only a token indicating your subscription is active or inactive
- Purchase verification: Google Play provides purchase tokens for validation
Payment Data Security: All payment information is handled exclusively by Google Play and is subject to Google Payments Privacy Notice.

We may collect the following device information:
- Device model and manufacturer (for compatibility and debugging)
- Operating system version (Android version)
- App version (for update prompts and feature availability)
- Screen size and resolution (for UI optimization)
How We Use It: This information is used locally for app functionality and is not transmitted to external servers.
1.6 Locally Stored Data
The following data is stored locally on your device only:
- Saved simulation scenarios (ground zero locations, yields, wind profiles)
- DNAF-1 Pro additional data: Launch site configurations, missile trajectories, weapons database selections
- Offline map tiles (if downloaded for offline use)
- App settings and preferences (map type, units, display options)
- Cached wind data (for performance optimization)
- Subscription status cache (encrypted)
Storage Location: All data is stored in the App's private storage directory and is encrypted using Android's EncryptedSharedPreferences.
